Interior's MMS issues more drilling permits & waivers after oil spill

President Obama promised and announced a moratorium on permits for drilling new offshore oil wells and a halt to environmental waivers. That sounded really good. We need to stop these waivers till we figure out all the potential damage deep sea drilling could do to the environment.
President Obama and Interior Secretary Ken Salazar have now entered the "Depends-on-what-is-is?" zone. We will not grant waivers except those kinds of waivers. This is maddening! Quit the double speak! We just had eight years of that. Secretary Salazar is giving me Rumsfeld flashbacks.
